My Nursing Bra

An Emily nursing bra gives you the greatest comfort and support while nursing your child. You will need to start thinking about buying your nursing bra from around 36 weeks, at which stage you should be the correct size.

Your Bra is fitted with many essential features that enable your nursing period to be as comfortable as possible.

Your Bra comes with easy to open and close clips on the drop down cup.
The bra also comes with natural breathable linings. All the Emily bras have 100% cotton linings.
The Bras are also fitted with 4-6 hook and eye adjusters to accommodate your changing size. Fit on the loosest fitting so you will be able to adjust the hook and eye as your rib cage returns to your natural shape after.

When buying your bra you will need to consider that you will need enough space for a breast pad and to accommodate your milk filling up your cup between feeds.

If your cup size grows beyond an E or F cup, you may want to consider one of our soft-wired nursing bras as this will give you more support.

The Emily Lingerie underwire bras use flexible lightweight titanium wire so they can adjust to the body's changes when pregnant or breastfeeding. Hard or rigid underwires have not been used as they may restrict your milk duct system. The wire we use in our bras is longer than that in a regular underwired bra. This means that bra is wider at the sides to avoid the wire coming into contact with your breast tissue.
